Top 3 in WA Young Innovators of the Year: Elevare Education’s Journey

28/09/2025

We're thrilled to announce that Elevare Education has been named a finalist (top 3) in the WA Young Innovators of the Year (<25) competition, organised by the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation. Elevare is a youth-led initiative dedicated to supporting migrant students. As finalists, we will promote innovation among Western Australian youth, participate in Masterclasses provided by the Young Entrepreneur Academy of WA, and pitch our program to departmental representatives, competing for the grand prize of $10,000 in government funding. This will help us expand our reach, subsidise our costs and kickstart more initiatives.

We sincerely thank all our students, parents, online community members, and supporters, whether you followed our socials, watched our podcasts, or engaged with our website. A special thanks to the students who contributed by completing our surveys; your input has been invaluable.

Elevare Education began by addressing a real gap in support for students, especially recently arrived migrant students in Australia. Many were unsupported and disengaged, limiting their potential. We founded Elevare on the belief that every student deserves the resources and guidance to succeed. Over time, we've worked to provide this through online communities, podcasts, blogs, and more.

We wouldn't have reached this milestone without your support. What began as a dream is becoming a reality: dozens of families supported, tens of thousands of engagements across our platforms, and recognition by WA's Department as a leading youth-led innovation. We look forward to growing further, supporting more students, and continuing this legacy. Thank you for helping us come this far.
